2024 Staff and Student Excellence Awards |
The 2024 Staff and Student Excellence Awards – which include the President's Meritorious Service Award, Student Employee of the Year Award and Community Engagement Award – recognize and reward staff and students for their commendable service to Texas A&M University. Recipients of these highly prestigious awards have demonstrated their commitment to the Aggie Core Values of Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect and Selfless Service. We extend our most sincere congratulations and deep appreciation for their tremendous efforts that make Texas A&M such a great place to live and work.
All university employees, as well as Chartwells (Aggie Dining) and SSC Service Solutions employees, are invited to attend the award ceremony on Wednesday, April 10, at 3 p.m. at Rudder Theatre. A reception with refreshments will be held following the ceremony. If you are unable to join us in person, you are invited to view the livestream as awardees are honored.
The President's Meritorious Service Award program honors all past recipients and is proudly sponsored by the Office of the President and The Association of Former Students and coordinated by the Division of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness.

Be on the ball and schedule your on-campus Catapult Health Exam to complete half of your requirements for the Two-Step Wellness Incentive. This incentive gives you a premium reduction of $30 per month. Catapult Health Exams are the fastest way to complete your mandatory wellness exam. Incentive requirements must be completed by June 30 to be effective for FY25. Out of everyone eligible for the premium reduction, only 9.2% have completed their two steps already! Were you unable to attend Field Day? Living Well at Texas A&M invites you to Build Your Own (BYO) Field Day! Create a day of fun to show appreciation toward your unit, office and colleagues by building your own version of field day for a chance to win a traveling trophy.
Host your version before Friday, April 5. Be sure to take photos and videos during your BYO Field Day and follow submission instructions by Wednesday, April 10.

Living Well at Texas A&M’s third annual Outdoor Adventure Day at Millican Reserve will be back on Saturday, May 18. Bring your family, friends and pets to create your own adventure in the great outdoors.
Enjoy exclusive access to the property’s beautiful grounds and a plethora of activities, including sunrise yoga, kids’ yoga, stand-up paddleboarding, solo and tandem kayaking, three guided nature hike options, kids’ activities, yard games, and catch and release fishing.
