If you expect to graduate in Spring 2025 or participate in the spring ceremony as a Summer 2025 graduate, it’s time to apply for degree conferral at my.unt.edu. Undergraduate applications are due Friday, Feb. 14, while graduate students have until Friday, Feb. 21. To make the process a breeze, check out the step-by-step visuals on how to apply, along with helpful guides for undergraduates and graduate students.
As a reminder, UNT does not host summer or virtual commencement ceremonies.

MEDIA LIBRARY FUN
Looking for a warm retreat from the cold weather? UNT’s Media Library on the second floor of Willis Library is the perfect spot. Whether you're into movies, board games or gaming, it’s all free for students.
The Media Library moved from Chilton Hall last semester and the updated space now features shelves of DVDs, retro games and consoles, alongside high-powered Dell Alienware PCs with VR capabilities and curved monitors. With 11 gaming consoles, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, the Media Library is the ultimate spot to unwind and have some fun.

UNT DAY AT THE CAPITOL
It’s almost time to turn Austin Mean Green! On Tuesday, Feb. 25, UNT students, alumni, faculty and staff are heading to the Capitol to showcase what makes our university extraordinary. UNT Day at the Capitol is a chance to share with Texas legislators the research, innovation and learning opportunities that set UNT apart, and highlight the statewide impact of more than 46,000 students and hundreds of thousands of alumni.
Participants will be placed in teams to meet with lawmakers and advocate for increased funding to support our students and programs.

BONNIE BRAE CLOSURE
Heads up! Bonnie Brae Street is closed between Airport Road and Mean Green Village Lot 76. You can access DATCU Stadium and the Athletic Center via the southbound frontage road. For Mean Green Village, take the frontage road and turn right onto North Texas Boulevard, then continue onto Walt Parker Road. This project is expected to wrap up in June, and you can stay updated on construction projects by following UNT Facilities on Instagram or X.
