NJHS is helping BREC stuff eggs for their Annual Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 23rd! To help BREC reach their goal of 50K eggs, NJHS is seeking donations of plastic eggs and prizes. Examples of prizes: gummies, bubble gum, fidgets, erasers, bubbles, bouncy balls. Please no candy with nuts. All donations can be dropped off to Mrs. Rieger in room M228 by March 14th.

Registration for our Summer Camps at the U is open! Let the U be your one-stop-shop for all things fun for your children this summer. From arts and crafts to engineering, we've got something for everyone. Register by 11:59pm on Sunday, March 31, 2024 to take advantage of our Early Bird rates!
There are three options for attendance: morning, afternoon, or both. Before Care sessions are also available. Drop off as early as 7am.
Pair an Enrichment or Readiness Camp with Cub Camp in the afternoon or vice versa.

National Honor Society is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for K-2 grade students during school. Participants will be picked up at their classroom at 1:30pm, escorted and monitored during the hunt in the courtyard or on school playground, and then escorted back to classroom by 2:30pm. Participants should bring their own Easter basket if available. Register on sLocal and then fill out the form below.

Students in grades 7 and 8 are invited to apply for Geaux Science Explorations: Our Earth, Our Laboratory — a day of fun earth and energy science activities led by some of LSU's top geologists!
Learn about geology research at LSU, lunch and chat with LSU scientists and students, and explore LSU geology research labs.
How do you apply? Complete the 2024 Our Earth, Our Laboratory application form linked below. The application requires an essay, a parent authorization form, and a photography and social media release form that must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian.
Application Deadline: Friday, March 22, 2024.

Please have your student speak with their teacher and complete the Spring 2024 Withdrawal Form on the DE Google Classroom page if they wish to drop a course.

Attention Senior Parents:
Students can apply for TOPS by completing the 2024-25 FAFSA® or the TOPS Online Application. Either application will fulfill the graduation requirement for public high school students. The FAFSA® allows students to apply for TOPS, other state aid, and all federal aid. The TOPS Online Application allows students to apply ONLY for TOPS.

College application season is in full swing! Here are a few helpful reminders

- Create a Common App account. (This is the application that most schools use.)

Complete your FERPA waiver in Common App.
- Match your Common App account to Naviance.
- For any institution applications (not through Common App), be sure you list the schools in Naviance.
- Request transcripts for all application types through Naviance.
- If a teacher recommendation letter is required by the school:
- Invite ULS teachers through Naviance.

Check the status of teacher recommendations through Common App and remind teachers of due dates if needed.
- If a counselor recommendation letter is required by the school:

Be part of celebrating K-5th students' Kids' Heart Challenge efforts! Next week, the kids will enjoy special activities at a variety of stations in the gym and on the turf tennis courts. Lots of volunteers are needed, and you are welcome to join for your child's event or any session that fits your schedule. Please sign up below.
