This week’s Fiercely Forward Friday spotlight is Tristan Martinez, whose work at Clemson combines athletic excellence with academic dedication and a desire to inspire others. By excelling in football and historical research, Martinez demonstrates that pursuing your goals can create opportunities to give back. Through his teaching, mentorship and example, he shows children in his Hawaiian communities they can aim high and achieve great things.

- Construction will begin Sunday on the new 90,000-square-foot medical office building that will replace the Redfern Health Center. The facility will be built on the site of the current C-1 lot, resulting in a five-phase process to close sections of the lot through Summer 2027.
- Today is the final day of Open Enrollment. Benefits-eligible employees must make any enrollments or changes for 2026 by 11:59 p.m. tonight. Instructions and information is available on the Open Enrollment webpage.
The Remote Work log has been updated to include a new sheet for November entries while the Office of Human Resources finalizes the digital reporting system. As a reminder, employees are required to report changes from their approved remote work schedule or use of remote work if not enrolled in the University Remote Work program.
