Federation 5: News you can use from across Greater Washington
Our Greater Washington Jewish community will head into Shabbat with heavy hearts tonight, in the wake of yet another tragic and horrifying shooting that took the lives of 17 innocent people this week.

As we continue to process this incomprehensible act, and try once again to focus on what can be done to prevent this from ever happening again, our thoughts are focused first and foremost on the family members, friends and community of the victims. We send our deepest condolences to the loved ones of Alyssa, Scott, Martin, Nicholas, Aaron, Jaime, Chris, Luke, Cara, Gina, Joaquin, Alaina, Meadow, Helena, Alex, Carmen and Peter. May their memories be for a blessing and bring comfort to all who knew them.

This Shabbat, join us as we remember these men, women and children whose lives were cut far too short. In their honor and memory, learn more about them.
