We had the best time at Polar Bear Weekend! Thirty-nine of our students and leaders joined others from Southern Louisiana where we enjoyed hay rides, getting sprayed with a fire truck hose, and a silent disco! Most importantly, we heard about the God who sees us and cares about what's going on in our lives. That message feels timely as we enter the Advent season when we remember that God showed us how deeply He cares for us by drawing near in Jesus Christ. As we move through this season, we pray the Lord would make Himself known to you—that you would sense His presence as tangibly as those who walked with Him 2,000 years ago. Even in the ordinary moments, may He remind you that He is near.

"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
