Save the date and consider being an ambassador for One Day One KU, February 20-21 |
One Day One KU — when Jayhawks from around the world come together to give during a 24-hour period — is almost here. This year’s campaign brings a few changes, so here are three things you should know:
|
-
Mark your calendar for two days. One Day One KU will be running from noon Thursday, Feb. 20 to noon Friday, Feb. 21.
-
Be on the lookout for ways to help donations to KU International Affairs go further. Throughout the day, bonus funds will be given to units that receive the most gifts within certain timeframes. Watch KUIA’s social media accounts for more information on these Power Hour Challenges.
- Sign-up to become an ambassador. One of best ways to help KUIA is to encourage your fellow alumni, friends and family to give during the day. Ambassadors are given a unique URL to share via email and on social media, as well as a toolkit to create their own social media posts, emails and texts.
|
The money raised on One Day One KU promotes international education by funding study abroad scholarships, providing free passports, aiding international students in crisis and supporting joint programming for our area studies centers.
