Walk of Hope Raises Awareness for Suicide Prevention |
On September 27, students, faculty, and staff came together for a one-mile walk around campus to promote suicide awareness. Prior to the walk, a brief ceremony featured keynote speaker Joshua Rivedal, founder of Changing Minds: A Mental Health Based Curriculum and The i'Mpossible Project. Joshua's inspiring message encouraged open dialogue and provided critical resources for mental health awareness.

Irvine Valley College proudly celebrated AANAPISI Week, recognizing our designation as an Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution. Throughout the week, our college community participated in a variety of events that highlighted the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of the AANHPI community. Professor Kurt Meyer Celebrated for 20 Years of Service as Honor Society Chapter Advisor |
Professor of English Kurt Meyer recently received a pin acknowledging his 20 years of service as IVC’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapter advisor. President Hernandez and Dean of Liberal Arts Brooke Bui presented Professor Meyer with the pin last month. Read More »

Fiesta Gourmet food truck will be on campus from 11 am to 2 pm today in place of Kabobaholic. Fiesta Gourmet’s menu features a variety of delicious options, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, fries, and nachos with your choice of meats like steak, chicken, and shrimp.
