Your Dollars at Work - Alumni Scholarship Fund Pays Out
In 2017 the Alumni Leadership Committee set a goal to establish an endowed scholarship fund specifically for Goodwin alumni who were pursuing a higher degree at the College. Through small fundraising activities like our family photo day, the NYC bus trip, and a recycling day, we were able to modestly fund the scholarship account.
As the College and our alumni base has grown, so has our desire to reach more students. In 2019 we partnered with the Goodwin College Foundation to launch the inaugural Goodwin Awards, where proceeds exclusively fund the Alumni Scholarship Fund. We have been fortunate to pay out five scholarships to date. In 2020 we will host the 2nd Annual Goodwin Awards to once again raise funds that directly help our returning alumni work towards the next degree level.
