Middle School Dance March 17
Middle Schoolers, come celebrate St. Patty's Day at the Middle School Dance!
- Date: Friday, March 17
- Time: 7-9 p.m.
(Prompt 9 p.m. pick-up out front of Singleton Hall/Green loop; 9:30 p.m. pick-up for the clean-up crew) - $10 exact change at the door
- Dress in GREEN (go “ALL OUT”; face paint permitted)
- Eat before you come, no food provided
- Bring a water bottle
- Music, activities, contests, and games

The St. Michael's Parents' Association (SMPA) has an exciting Teacher Appreciation Week planned for our amazing faculty and staff beginning on Monday, March 20.
Let's fill the sidewalks surrounding our buildings with messages and artwork honoring our teachers!

Lenten Service Learning Wraps Up on March 14
St. Michael's all-school service learning project wraps up on March 14, to benefit SHOOD.
Shood's Mission: Shood collects men's and women's new and gently used running shoes, reconditions, and distributes them locally to those who are homeless or living in poverty in Richmond, VA.
St M Service Project: Collecting shoes and personal care items to be given to guests at upcoming Shood Share Giveaways.
- Grades K-3: Small nail clippers
- Grades 4-5: Small containers of foot powder
- Middle School: Small containers of sunscreen
- Shoe Donation Bins will also be on site. We are collecting new and gently-used adult running shoes and track spikes.

LS Parents Night Out: March 31
Our St. Michael's Lower School parents can have an evening to themselves with a little help from Extended Programs. Extended Programs is hosting Parents' Night Out - Shamrock Shindig on March 31, 6-9 p.m.
Filled with St. Patrick's Day-themed activities, there will be a lucky coin toss, face painting, shamrock goodies, and more!
Dinner Served: Pizza and fruit. Don't forget your refillable water bottle! $52 for the first child, $15 for each additional child, grades JK-5.

Construction Update
Those that approach St M's campus from Hobby Hill Road know that some neighborhood construction in past weeks necessitated the use of alternate routes. For reference and future use, ATTACHED please find a map that shows neighborhood roads and an alternate route to our campus entrance.
Separately, for those that live on or travel through the Cary Street corridor, the city of Richmond recently embarked on a 7-month sewer project that will close parts of Cary Street. Click HERE for info so that you may plan for alternate routes as you head to school.

Upon receipt of this information, St M's school nurse will contact the family. Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted b the school nurse.
