Supplemental Life Special Opportunity |
Beginning July 1, 2026, Lincoln Financial will administer OHIO's basic, supplemental, and dependent life insurance plans, as well as short‑term and long‑term disability coverage. This change replaces Minnesota Life for life insurance coverages and UNUM for short‑term and long‑term disability plans.

During the 2026–2027 Benefits Open Enrollment, Lincoln Financial will allow employees to enroll in up to $200,000 of supplemental life insurance without requiring Evidence of Insurability (EOI). This EOI waiver is only available during this open enrollment period.

🛍️ Additional Employee Discounts |
As part of our ongoing effort to support our campus community, University employees now have access to a new set of perks and discounts through Working Advantage. The platform offers savings across a broad range of categories, including travel, theme parks, entertainment, shopping, dining, and more.
| |
To help everyone get started, Working Advantage provided a short three-minute enrollment video to guide employees through the site.
Please note that there are no changes to the existing Discount Marketplace or our employee perks website. University Human Resources wants to provide additional value to employees. This is an ongoing initiative, and we hope to have even more discounts to share with you soon!
