Hi Class of 2029! Below is the final Fall Welcome edition of the Bear Bulletin. Future editions will be sent to you at the beginning of each month. View these newsletters for need-to-know information about WashU and St. Louis!

Student Affairs

A long-standing tradition at WashU, Convocation is the official academic welcome to the university. The Chancellor, Provost, Deans, and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs will address the Class of 2029 in Brookings Quad during this milestone event. Convocation will take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather. 

Immediately following Convocation, join the WashU community in Tisch Park for Party in the Park. Celebrate the completion of Fall Welcome with music, refreshments, and tons of fun! 

Sumers Recreation Center is open for your use, including daily BearFIT classes such as cycling and Pilates.

Healthy excellence: Morning run and BearFit classes

7:30 - 8:30 a.m.

WUSA small group and Pre-Convocation: Attendance required.
Various locations
5 - 7:30 p.m.

Convocation: Attendance required.
Brookings Quad
7:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Party in the Park
East End, Tisch Park
8:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Residential community traditions
South 40, Residential Communities
10 - 11 p.m.
