| | Team Israel Baseball at Bethesda Big Train
Bethesda Big Train, co-sponsored by Federation, Jewish Community Relations Council, and Bender JCC of Greater Washington
Watch Israel's national baseball team face the Bethesda Big Train at Shirley Povich Field in Bethesda, MD as part of its pre-Olympic training. The game is one of nine Team Israel will play in the U.S. before traveling to Japan for the Olympics. The game will begin after nightfall on the Jewish day of mourning, Tisha B’Av.

- Handmade for the Homeless
Join the EDCJCC, and fellow knitters and crocheters over Zoom on Monday, July 12th, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM, to make handmade items to distribute to individuals experiencing homelessness in the DC area.
- HIAS Letter Writing
Join HIAS for a monthly program in which volunteers write letters of compassion and solidarity to people in immigration detention and participate in a short learning session that reflects on issues facing refugees and asylum seekers.
- AmeriCorps Seniors Volunteer Virtual Information Session
If you are 55 years old and older, register to learn more about the personalized match-making process connecting you to a volunteer experience in Northern Virginia coinciding with your preferred role, skills, and location on Tuesday, July 13th , 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
