Growing Leaders
Our Middle School Model United Nations (MUN) team, St M's largest academic club with 36 eighth grade members, spent last weekend at the Trinity Episcopal School Model United Nations Conference. The MUN conference experience emphasized research, public speaking, teamwork, and diplomacy as they debated on topics related to COVID 19's impact on the World Health Organization's sustainable development goal of Good Health and Well Being, as well as clean cooking in relationship to Affordable and Clean Energy.
Our Dragons brought home awards for "Outstanding Delegate" and "Verbal Commendation", as well as two Honorable Mentions. So proud of this incredible group of students who will one day change our world for the better.

Spring Break Begins at Noon on Friday (Early Dismissal)
A friendly reminder that Friday, March 4, is a NOON DISMISSAL DAY as St M begins Spring Break. The School will be closed March 7-11. Have a fun and restful week!

Ash Wednesday Chapel Services on March 2
St. Michael's will administer ashes at these services to all students who wish to receive them. All children will walk forward with their classmates, though if any students do not wish to receive ashes, they may cross their arms over their chests to receive a simple blessing. Please talk with your child(ren) about your own faith tradition(s) and how that informs your family's choice about how they will participate.

Magic Dragon Day T-Shirt Art Contest Winners
Thanks to everyone who submitted artwork for the Magic Dragon Day T-shirt contest. Many talented and creative drawings were submitted by our students. The winners were chosen in a blind judging by a committee of Magic Dragon Day volunteers and School administration/faculty.
OVERALL WINNER: Special congratulations to Eleanor McCoy (sixth grade) as her drawing will appear on the Magic Dragon Day 2022 T-Shirt!

Tuition Credit Raffle
The Tuition Raffle is BACK! Purchase a tuition raffle ticket for a chance to win a $5,000 tuition credit for the 2022-2023 school year!
Only 250 tickets will be sold. Grandparents, family, and friends may purchase tuition raffle tickets and designate a family to receive the credit. No limit to the number of tickets you may purchase. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Auction, Friday, April 1, 2022. A minimum of 125 tickets must be sold.

| COVID Reporting Protocol/Form
If someone in your family has symptoms, has been exposed, or is being tested for COVID-19, please inform the School IMMEDIATELY IN WRITING via the COVID-19 Reporting Form linked below. The link is also on the School website.
Upon receipt of this information, Nurse Maben, St M's school nurse, will contact the family. The confidentiality of the diagnosed student or teacher will be maintained. Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted by Nurse Maben.
