“Now it springs up, do you not perceive it?” - (God)

Has God ever sprang up something new in you life? I mean, if its good its from God (James 1:17). But sometimes the jury may still be out for a while as to whether or not whatever it is that sprang up is good.

I’m sure that you’ve had some things spring up. I certainly have!

Some things such as the seasons and some of the activities for the seasons are fairly predictable. Other things, like who will hear and how will they respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirt, not quite so much. But this much I do know. God is already at Hanging Rock and I believe He will show out in a big way time after time this camp season!

Would you consider joining me in prayer asking our Lord and His Holy Spirit to work in hearts and minds, drawing into an abiding hike with Him, all those who will experience Hanging Rock this season.

Whenever you see God doing things that only God can do: drawing people to Him & changing lives, ask yourself this question; How can I go and be part of what God is doing?

God certainly does these things at camp! Do you not perceive it!

Would you consider being part of what God is doing here? Together we can make Hanging Rock inviting, beautiful, fun and ready for people to meet and hike with the Son of God!

Summer Camp 2023,

The early bird discount will end on June 4, 2023. We have several camps that are already full. 

Hanging Rock is a place for new friends, spiritual growth, and outdoor fun in our pool, two ziplines, our low ropes course and a lot more. 

Sign up today for a life-changing experience! 

May 18th will be the last 413ers before camp starts.

We could really use some help on this to finalize everything that needs to be done before camp starts. 

We will have something for everyone. We encourage homeschoolers, retired folks, women and men. 

There will be plenty to do. Come out and serve and have great fellowship with others.

 It is that time of year again! Camp is right around the corner, and we are feverishly getting things ready for all the campers who will be here to learn about Jesus! What better time of year than this!? With that being said I am looking for some volunteers in the kitchen to help prepare the meals for the campers this summer. I have already lined up a few ladies who are willing to come over from time to time to help in the kitchen but am always open to more help! If you, or your small group, or Sunday School class, or Bible Study group would like to come help in the kitchen please reach out to me and I will let you know when I will need the help. It can be for just a meal, a day, a few days, a week, the same day each week, I think you get my drift. You do not have to be a gourmet chef; I don’t even classify for that. You don’t even need to have experience in a commercial kitchen. You just have to have a heart willing to serve The Lord and the people here at camp!

We are in need of some things for Summer Camp 2023

-Water Coolers 5 gallon and 10 gallon

- # 10 cans of green beans, carrots, ketchup, fruit. 

- Mattresses - We need some new mattresses for some of our beds in the Hanging Rock Inn

- Gravel - We would like to put fresh gravel around the circle.

- Laundry detergent, dawn dish soap, paper towels, dish towels. 

- Soccer balls, basketballs, gaga balls, volleyballs.

2023 Flooring Projects,

We have $13,000 on hand for the flooring projects. We still have a few fundraisers coming up that will help fund this project.  We anticipate all the flooring to cost around $35,000. We do have some tripping hazards and broken up concrete in the dining hall that we plan to address by sanding , waxing and sealing the floor. We will be replacing the carpet in the gym and 2 of the classrooms with carpet squares and one classroom with vinyl plank to be used for a craft room.  We would love for you to join us in this effort.
