McWhorter School of Pharmacy’s community gathered on Jan. 12 for the 2024 State of the School Address. First held in 2015, the dean’s annual address highlights accomplishments over the past year and shares a vision for the year ahead. For 2024, the school's focus will be administered in three doses: faith, fellowship and pharmacy.

During the State of the School address, Dean Michael Crouch distributed a white paper he wrote entitled, “The Pivotal Role of Pharmacists.” Within it, Crouch addresses the integral, expanding role pharmacists play in today’s health care system and notes opportunities for pharmacists to innovate and help make the system better.

McWhorter School of Pharmacy will be hosting an overnight Bulldog Pharmacy Camp this summer for current high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, June 23-28. Campers will learn about careers in pharmacy through hands-on lab demonstrations and unique service projects. We hope you'll encourage your young, aspiring pharmacist to join us this summer. The deadline to register is March 15.
