Now Accepting Submissions: Fred Simon Gallery

The Nebraska Arts Council is now accepting applications from artists and curators from April 1 – August 2, 2019 for exhibitions in the Fred Simon Gallery for the 2020/2021 exhibition schedule.

The Fred Simon Gallery exhibits Nebraska visual artists throughout the year. The gallery is hosted by the Nebraska Arts Council and located within the historic Burlington Building on the Gene Leahy Mall in Omaha's Old Market.

The Fred Simon Gallery is a special exhibition venue for Nebraska visual artists working in all mediums. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have resided in Nebraska for two years prior to the application deadline, and be a resident of Nebraska during the exhibition period. 
This submission and exhibition opportunity is at no cost to the artist. NAC provides food and drinks for the opening reception and internet marketing support. Artists are permitted to make sales directly with the client, and NAC does not take a commission.
The artist assumes all responsibility for costs incurred while preparing artwork and installation of exhibition. The artist is also responsible for providing insurance, printed materials (if desired) and the shipping and removal of the exhibition.
