Nearly every person in the US who has been treated for breast cancer in the past few decades has benefitted from federal investment in medical research. But cuts to current and future research funding threaten the National Institutes of Health and other critical programs, impeding progress.
At the same time, anti-science rhetoric is eroding trust in medical, academic, and other research organizations.
NBCC advocates know firsthand that science saves lives. This October, fight back against these threats to our mission and take action to protect the science that will help end breast cancer. Urge Congress to oppose science and research cuts or any legislative package that targets medical research.
