COMMUNITIES + LOCATIONS

Yousef Kazemi and Kati Thomason with OF+MO
Oklahoma Music Industry Shines at AmericanaFest in Nashville
OF+MO was proud to be a returning partner of the Americana Music Association’s annual Americana Music Festival & Conference (AmericanaFest) in Nashville last month. While attending, OF+MO promoted Oklahoma as a growing destination for the music industry among the global audience of attendees, which included artists, fans and industry professionals representing renowned organizations such as BMI, ASCAP, Thirty Tigers, Red Light Management Group, CDX Nashville and much more. OF+MO was also happy to support local musician Kaitlin Butts who was one of this year’s featured showcase Americana showcase artists.

Yukon Achieves Oklahoma Film Friendly Certification
OF+MO, in conjunction with the City of Yukon, is proud to announce the city has achieved film friendly certification after completing the requirements for OF+MO’s Oklahoma Film Friendly Community Program.

“We are thrilled for the opportunities that being a Film Friendly Community will bring to Yukon,” said City of Yukon Public Information Officer and Film Liaison Jenna Roberson. “Our city has many diverse locations that would make a great backdrop to any production.”
FEATURED LOCATION
Former United Oklahoma Bank
Conveniently located in Stockyards City just minutes from downtown Oklahoma City, the former United Oklahoma Bank offers filmmakers a wealth of production value. The property features a wrap-around second story of offices, a drive-thru and ornate design, which seamlessly incorporates the western heritage of its district with finishing touches befitting of the late-60s and mid-70s during which most of construction and design took place. Though the bank’s operations have ceased, a small adjacent portion of the property has been leased to another tenant; however, many of the constraints of an active financial institution are mitigated with an environment that can be mostly controlled by the filmmakers as agreed upon by the property’s current ownership and management. This film friendly location can be seen in the upcoming feature film “Out of Exile” as well as the Paramount+ series “Tulsa King” starring Sylvester Stallone.

Many thanks to the property’s owner and Stockyard City Main Street Association for sharing this location with us and for their film friendly support.

If you are interested in showcasing your community or featuring your location in the Oklahoma Locations Directory, please contact Yousef Kazemi at Yousef.Kazemi@OKCommerce.gov or visit our website for more information.
