Start of Semester Housing and Meal Plan Details
|
Getting to campus
Shuttles from the Cincinnati (CVG) Airport are available on Sunday, January 28 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. with multiple returns to campus. Your student can ride on a professional luxury coach to/from the airport for only $40 each way! Shuttles will also be available for spring break. More details can be found on the Campus Services Center website.
Moving back in
Residence halls will reopen on Sunday, January 28 at 9 a.m. If your student has a need to arrive prior to opening, they can request to arrive on Saturday, January 27, through the housing portal. Students who are approved to arrive on Saturday will be charged their daily cohort rate. Students are NOT permitted to return to campus prior to Saturday without a specific documented need. Students who have travel reasons to arrive before spring semester hall opening should make arrangements to stay off-campus with a friend or make hotel reservations. Students who access their room without approval will be billed the unapproved rate of $55/day.
Spring Meal Plan Reminder
Students were recently emailed a reminder regarding their spring meal plan selection. The purpose of the email was to inform them of the meal plan selected for the upcoming semester and a reminder about the deadline to make changes. If students would like to choose a different meal plan for spring, they can login to their Online Housing Account, click on the "Online Forms" link, and then select "Change My Meal Plan." The last day to make changes will be Monday, January 29, 2024. The current selection is displayed in the drop-down list following the list of all meal plan options. If your student chooses to change their current plan, they should select a new plan in the drop-down menu and then select the "Save & Continue" button.
Learn more about meal plan options at www.MiamiOH.edu/MealPlans. Contact the Campus Services Center at CampusServicesCenter@MiamiOH.edu with meal plan questions.
2024-2025 Housing for Rising Juniors and Seniors
Current second year and older students are able to login to the housing portal to view available spaces and complete room selection for next year if they plan to stay on campus. There's no lottery process for rising third and fourth year students - they are able to complete the application and select a room all at the same time.

Over 3,000 Miami University students work on campus in a variety of areas including labs, recreation and arts operations, grounds keeping, offices, food service, tutoring, peer advising and orientation, camps, residence halls, fundraising and countless other opportunities.
