| September is a reminder of the significance of mental health and the importance of supporting those who may be struggling. By acknowledging Suicide Prevention month, we can foster compassion, educate ourselves and others, and create a supportive environment where individuals feel safe seeking help.
If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts or is at risk of suicide, reach out for help immediately. Dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or text the national Crisis Text Line to speak directly with a counselor. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.

| What have you done to take care of yourself today? When asked this question, most people have to think long and hard prior to answering. Family, work and other obligations may cause you to put your needs behind everyone else’s. You may find this can leave you stressed, overwhelmed and exhausted, but this can all change with a little self-care.
Practicing self-care is one of the fundamentals of resilience. While everyone practices self-care differently, it can include any activities that you intentionally perform to benefit your physical, mental and emotional well-being. This month, we encourage you to do one thing for yourself whether that be attending one of our well-being events, making an appointment with a lifestyle coach, or anything else that brings you joy.
Watch this presentation that covers why it is important to invest in your own self-care to help maximize your well-being.
