ARC Family Hearing Day

On Tuesday, February 25th, we participated in The Arc's Family Hearing Day, where individuals and families united to advocate for increased funding for the IDD community and the providers who support them.

A special thank you to House Majority Leader Jason Rojas for coordinating MARC's tour of the CT State Capitol! We also extend our gratitude to Senator MD Rahman, State Representatives Jason Doucette, Patrick Biggins, Jill Barry, and Senior Advisor Awet Tsegai for giving MARC the opportunity to have our voices heard!

A reduction of this scale means fewer services, fewer caregivers, and a loss of critical, life-sustaining support.

2025 Rockin' Bowl-A-Thon

Our 2025 Bowl-A-Thon was truly unforgettable! This year, MARC's 2025 Rockin’ Bowl-A-Thon raised an incredible $29,219—a 20% increase from last year’s event! Here are some milestones we achieved together:

✅ First time organizations participated in the Kingpin Sponsorship level
✅ Achieved the highest number of Strike Zone sponsors in event history
✅ Hosted our first-ever Draft Night featuring MARC Premium Bowlers
✅ Surpassed our fundraising goal!

AT Peer Mentor Teaches Project Search about Internet Safety

A big thank you to Project SEARCH for inviting Jacob, one of MARC's Assistive Technology peer mentors, to lead an engaging lesson on internet safety. Using creative tools like Kahoot, crossword puzzles, and slideshows, Jacob found fun and innovative ways to help his peers learn.

It was a full-circle moment for Jacob, a 2024 Project SEARCH graduate, to return to Goodwin University. Great job Jacob and Project SEARCH!📚

MARC Individuals Receive Certificate of Appreciation

Congratulations to our individuals for their outstanding work and ongoing commitment in making a positive impact! MARC individuals were proud to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from Shriners Children's Hospital in recognition of their dedication to recycling initiatives that contribute to fundraising efforts for the hospital.
