Join UMA Rockland Center on Tuesday, May 13th, for Talks on the Town: A Talk on Happiness with Philosophy Professor Greg Fahy!
Get ready for an engaging event from 5pm - 7pm at the Riley School in Rockport. A social hour will kick off the evening from 5pm - 6pm, where UMA students, alumni, faculty, and invited guests can enjoy drinks, delicious bites, and the chance to build lasting connections. Then, from 6pm - 7pm, Greg Fahy will lead an interactive presentation exploring fun cultural approaches to happiness.

River Fest & Paddle-In

Join NRCM, Megunticook RiverKeepers, Penobscot Nation Dept. of Natural Resources, and other local partners for a community paddle and rally to support the removal of the Montgomery Dam on the Megunticook River.
This is a family-friendly, educational event to celebrate healthy rivers, clean water, and thriving wildlife — and to call attention to the upcoming town vote on restoring a free-flowing Megunticook.
