Celebrating Volunteers

This past week was National Volunteer Week and the perfect opportunity to thank our dedicated volunteers for their service to our residents and communities. We are so grateful that we've been able to resume most in-person volunteer activities, and a few are highlighted below. Volunteers are integral to the happiness and well-being of our elders and we could not provide the variety of meaningful activities and programs we do without them. And if you're a volunteer and haven't been by yet this month, one of our goody bags is waiting for you!
Volunteers make BINGO more fun!
So many ways for families to volunteer together!
Furry friends are some of our favorite volunteers!
We love our line dancing volunteers!
Volunteers are our backup singers!
The ladies love when volunteers do manis!

Congratulations!

A.G. Rhodes Cobb has once again earned "Best of Cobb" recognition for Best Nursing Home in Cobb County. This is a reflection of the quality of care we provide our elders and the dedication of our professional Care Partners. Thank you to everyone who voted for us!

The Reward of Doing What You Enjoy

Employee Spotlight: Farrah Jerome
Life in the activities department at A.G. Rhodes Wesley Woods keeps Activities Director Farrah Jerome on her toes—literally.

“The Activities Department is fun! The outings, the cooking, the dancing—even the knees hurting after you’ve danced the whole day.”
In her role, Farrah also coordinates volunteers. She says it’s been wonderful to safely welcome volunteers back into the home over the past few months.
“Volunteers play a major role in the lives of the elders."
