Dear Saklan Community,
Happy New Year!
Our school-wide testing on the 5th went well, and I want to thank the entire community for their support. Presently, results are taking between 48 and 60 hours; therefore, parents should be able to access results by Friday or early Saturday.
As a school, we will receive a bulk report with the test results, so you will not need to send us your negative reports. That said, as a precaution, if you do receive a positive result, please forward them to us at office@saklan.org.
We are operating under the assumption that we will have all the results well before Monday, our first day of in-person learning. The worst-case scenario would be that some of the results would not have been received by Monday morning. Although this scenario is unlikely to happen, we need to be prepared. If your child does not receive their results by Monday morning, we ask that you keep your child home. Depending on the grade level, we will either have them Zoom in to class or send them assignments. Again, we believe that we will have all results before Monday, but we want to be well-prepared for all contingencies.
If you are unable to access your child's results by Saturday afternoon, please contact PMH Labs at (562) 592-2890. The lab has been responsive in trying to track down missing reports.
We will keep you updated as we receive information and I will be checking my email over the weekend and on Sunday night/Monday morning for any last-minute questions.
