Reflection: Annual Event Recap and Appreciation!
It was such a joy to celebrate and share stories with everyone who came to our annual event last month, The Art of We: Are More Than One Story! With the support of our incredible community, we raised $44,402 to continue to carry out the vital work of creating space for new narratives, embedding creative approaches, and resetting mindsets about ability and disability.
If you missed the event, or if you want to reminisce, click here for a brief recap and pictures.

Gratitude & The Work Ahead
As our fiscal year comes to a close, we are reflecting on the amazing scope of the last 12 months. In addition to nearly 150 programs in schools, adult day programs and community settings, we brought together individuals of all abilities for performances, storytelling workshops, and shared experiences that change the exchange between ability and disability.
It takes nearly a million dollars to do this culture-changing work each year. We have a funding gap of only $21,583 remaining before June 30, 2018.
Will you be one of the incredible story-shifters to invest in Upstream Arts' innovative work before June 30?

Together, we are moving upstream. Thanks for all that you do!
