Cash Incentives Offered for Businesses that Invest in Energy Reduction

Hotel and restaurant operations depend on a wide variety of energy-intensive equipment. While many Oregon businesses want to invest in ways to reduce energy consumption, the cost of these investments can be more than businesses can bear. Energy Trust of Oregon provides a bridge for Oregon businesses to invest in energy reduction by providing cash incentives to invest in energy-efficient lodging and foodservice equipment. View the complete list of incentives which includes motion sensors for light systems, highly efficient parking lighting, gas convection ovens, and freezers. Take steps today to make your business more energy efficient.

Giving Back to Oregon Through the Travel Oregon Forever Fund

The Travel Oregon Forever Fund raised more than $90,000 between 2012 and 2015 in support of 14 projects representing each of Oregon’s 7 regions. An average of $25,000 has been raised annually over the last three years. Funding for selected projects is provided directly from Oregon businesses and the residents and travelers they cater to. Participating businesses include donations directly into the cost of their services or they make an annual contribution to the Travel Oregon Forever Fund.
