Thanksgiving Food Drive
St. Michael's annual all-school food drive is November 10-21. Donations will benefit the St. Michael's Church Food Pantry, which provides meals for nearly 1000 people each month, including monthly support for Friends of the Homeless and Monarch Woods, an apartment community for low-income seniors.
Items that are greatly needed include:
- 16 oz. Chef Boyardee canned meals
- 18 oz. Peanut Butter
- Canned Vegetables, all varieties
- Canned Soups
- 1lb Boxes of Spaghetti
- 10 oz. Canned Meats (SPAM, Tuna, Chicken, as protein is much needed)
- 16 oz. Beans, all varieties
- 1lb bags of White Rice
- Paper Towels
- Bathroom Tissue
- Hygiene products
The Church provided this list of needed items. Food items will be collected in Lower School homerooms and in the Middle School Great Hall.
Please ensure the canned goods you donate from your pantry have not expired. (No glass jars, please.)
The food collected will be blessed at our Thanksgiving Chapel service. As Harvest Helpers, our fifth graders will sort all the food donations, deliver them to the Food Pantry, and learn more about our community partners as we respond to food insecurity in Richmond.

Thanks to all who joined us for a fun night of dancing, socializing, and celebrating our St. Michael's community. It was truly a festive fall evening under the stars!

Q1 Report Cards
Lower School Families: Report cards went home in backpacks on Friday, November 7.
Middle School Families: Middle School report cards went live in the PowerSchool parent portal on Friday, November 7. Paper copies will not be sent home. In June, students will receive a printed copy of the full-year report card.

Holly Jolly! Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting
Save the Date: Our Annual Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting on Wednesday, December 4, at 6 p.m. It's a much-loved and must-see event!
Important Note: Extended Day closes that day at 4:30 p.m.
Join us for a festive evening featuring a float parade around The Green, choral performances, all-school caroling, and the lighting of the Christmas tree. Santa himself will even make a special appearance. It is sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

Holiday Pop- Up Shop
Save the Date: The St. Michael's Parents' Association (SMPA) is excited to host a Holiday Pop-Up Shop on THURSDAY, December 4 from 8- 9:30 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. in the Perkinson Arts Center.
Our popular annual Holiday Pop-Up Shop is a perfect way to show your DRAGON PRIDE while picking up St M stocking stuffers, ornaments, and holiday gifts. Quantities are limited. Stay tuned for more details!

For the health and safety of all of our students, faculty, and staff, thank you for informing St. Michael’s if your child is ill and/or has a suspected contagious illness.
Upon receipt of this information, Nurse Maben, St M's school nurse, will contact the family. Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted by Nurse Maben.
