The 2026 holiday schedule is now available on the Office of Human Resources website. In accordance with state law, Clemson University will close on Election Day in 2026. To meet this requirement and maintain the customary five-day winter break, there will be no optional holiday in 2026.
- Clemson's eighth annual Day of the Dead event is set for Friday, October 24, from 6-9 p.m. at the Carillon Garden. The free, family-friendly event will feature face painting, live music, food trucks and more.

Clemson’s Career Innovation Lab, founded by Maggie Erickson (right), empowers students for the AI-driven world. In partnership with Student Affairs and powered by UPIC interns, the lab provides a safe "sandbox" to develop digital literacy and custom GPT tools.

Benefits-eligible employees with Medical Spending Accounts (MSA), Limited Medical Spending Accounts (LMSA) or Dependent Care Spending Accounts (DCSA) are required to re-enroll during Open Enrollment each year to ensure contributions continue in the next plan year.
