- HIAS Letter Writing
Join HIAS for a monthly program in which volunteers write letters of compassion and solidarity to people in immigration detention and participate in a short learning session that reflects on issues facing refugees and asylum seekers.
- Delivering Good
Federation partner Bender JCC’s centralized and sustained effort to engage volunteers in critical social action work, Delivering Good, focuses on five key areas of impact: hunger, housing, immigrants, environment, and inclusion. On November 9th from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, join Delivering Good to help organize and pack bags with shelf-stable items to be handed out by a local elementary school.
- Volunteer at Community Vaccination Clinics
Vaccine equity clinics are available around Fairfax County, VA for communities with the highest incidence of COVID-19 and the lowest rates of vaccination. Volunteer as a greeter, flow controller, or interpreter.
