Course Registration Reminders and Other Deadlines
Mark your calendars for upcoming course registration dates: April 15 for continuing and rising seniors, April 17 for rising juniors, and April 19 for rising sophomores. Registration opens promptly at 7 a.m. on each respective day, with continuous registration available through September 6 at 12 p.m.
April 12 at 4:30 p.m. is the last day to withdraw (resulting in a "W" on your transcript), change your enrollment grading system, or adjust credits for Customized Academic Learning (CAL). Additionally, the last day to drop a course is April 14 at 11:59 p.m.

2024–25 FAFSA Applications Now Open
The FAFSA application for the 2024–25 academic year is officially open. Make sure to complete it promptly to secure your financial aid award for the upcoming academic year. Learn more on the Student Financial Support website.

Important Commencement To-Dos |

Johns Hopkins' universitywide Commencement is scheduled for Thursday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ensure your participation in the 2024 ceremonies by registering through the MarchingOrder platform before April 19. Check your email for your MarchingOrder login information.
To help add a personal touch to the ceremony, students are invited to submit photos and videos by Friday, April 19 to be included in this year's celebration.
Be sure to stop by the Grad Fair at the Barnes & Noble bookstore from April 11–13, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to order personalized announcements, diploma frames, and your cap and gown in person.

CSS Saturdays Study Sessions
Need an extra push as finals approach? Join the Center for Student Success for CSS Saturdays: Study with a Tutor. This program offers all students the chance to study with both community and academic support. Whether you're tackling chemistry, physics, calculus, or need general study help, Learning Den tutors and study consultants are there for you. Come by the CSS on April 13, 20, and 27 between 12-4 p.m. and enjoy some snacks and pizza while you work.

Join the "Out of the Darkness" walk on April 13
Walk with the JHU community on April 13 to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention and to bring hope to people affected by suicide. The "Out of the Darkness” event includes a ceremony, resources, and a walk around Homewood campus. Register or join a team online; for disability accommodations, please contact Megan Tassinari. Opportunities to volunteer, speak, and perform are also available. The Well-Being Blog has also compiled a list of 12 things to know about this year's walk.

Updates to Vaccination Requirements
The university recently announced the lifting of its COVID-19 vaccination requirement. Students, faculty, and staff are strongly encouraged but no longer required to receive at least one dose of the vaccine. The Johns Hopkins University Health Advisory Group will contiue to closely monitor public health conditions and advise affiliates who test positive for COVID to follow the updated CDC guidelines.

Picnic for the Planet: Celebrate Earth Day April 22
Join Hopkins Dining for a delightful outdoor experience at their Picnic for the Planet on Monday, April 22 from 5–7 p.m. on the Freshman Quad. Take part in a sustainable dinner and engage in eco-friendly activities to celebrate Earth Day. Volunteer at Spring Fair
Spring Fair is just around the corner, and enthusiastic volunteers are needed for this vibrant three-day event. JHU Barnstormers Present Spring Musical, "Be More Chill"
Don't miss out on the electrifying performance of "Be More Chill" presented by the JHU Barnstormers! Based on the novel by Ned Vizzini, "Be More Chill" follows the story of a high school student who takes a supercomputer pill in a quest to become more popular. Purchase your tickets in advance for shows on April 12–14 and 19–21 from 8–10 p.m. and mark your calendars for a night filled with music.
