More than 130 Chicago Public Schools high school students connect with professionals at 11th annual Peter and Judy Kovler Career Conference on UChicago’s campus
After five years leading real estate organizations in Seattle, Michelle Mills Clement returned home to Chicago to become the first Black CEO of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®. She says joining The Chicago Urban League's IMPACT Leadership Development Program —supported by University of Chicago Booth School of Business— helped her become a better leader and reconnected her with her hometown, where she grew up in the Roseland and Pullman neighborhoods. "I was able to build more confidence in what I'm doing—and think about how to instill that confidence in someone else who can come along behind me but not have to walk the same road," she says.
