Support Seeds for Seniors on Giving Tuesday
On Tuesday, Nov. 28, people across the nation will help kick off the holiday season and take part in Giving Tuesday, a day of giving and celebrating the spirit of generosity. GAgives is our statewide day of giving that falls on Giving Tuesday, and we will raise money to support A.G. Rhodes' Horticultural Therapy Seeds for Seniors program. This program brings nature and healing to seniors at A.G. Rhodes.

Building Community through Person-Directed Care

Several years ago, A.G. Rhodes began improving its model of care by adopting a person-directed approach to senior care, which is the kind of care that we all want for our loved ones and for ourselves as we age.
Person-directed care means that we frame our delivery of care according to the unique needs and preferences of each elder. It means that in addition to prioritizing high-quality care, we equally prioritize an environment that promotes an exceptional quality of life.
But what does person-directed care look like day-to-day at A.G. Rhodes?

'Tis the season!

Come enjoy beautifully decorated trees and support local nonprofits like A.G. Rhodes at the 2nd annual Festival of Trees at Town Center Mall located in Kennesaw. A fun time was had by all as elders and Care Partners worked together to decorate our tree (and eat ice cream afterward, of course!) The display will be up through December 26 and is in the Atrium outside Belk in the mall. We hope you'll come by!

Happenings in our Homes

It's been another busy and fun month at A.G. Rhodes! We enjoyed Halloween festivities, welcomed young volunteers for an intergenerational activity, went on an outing to the Fox Theatre to see MJ the Musical, and honored the veterans in our communities. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get the holiday season off to a great start!

"Very friendly staff. (We) are greeted every time we meet a staff member in the halls. Also very good food and really nice to dine in the big dining room. Care is great and thorough. Music Therapy is a huge plus. Always a follow up call or email when I have reached out with a question."  ~ Diane K.
