Employees from industries spanning all types and sizes are leaving their jobs in unprecedented numbers—a nationwide phenomenon popularly coined as “the Great Resignation.”

Older Americans Month
May is one of the best months of the year…Older Americans Month! We love celebrating and highlighting the wisdom, the stories, and the lives of our elders.

Local teens, nonprofits team up to hold fashion show for nursing home residents

Teens volunteering with the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter (GMAC) of Jack and Jill recently partnered with A.G. Rhodes and Second Wind Dreams to hold a fashion show at A.G. Rhodes Atlanta. The event was in honor of Annie Moore, an Atlanta resident and Spelman alumnae whose illustrious career as a fashion designer broke many boundaries. Her work was featured in Vogue magazine in 1953 and some of her designs are on display at the Atlanta History Center. And, at age 102, she still has remarkable fashion sense!
Read the story that was featured online at CBS 46 news. And you can read more about Ms. Moore's amazing life and career here.
