WEDNESDAY: UPDATES
Passport Project makes international travel easier; two local students graduate with their parents; Writing Center’s summer hours start Monday; and more
Photo collage with a main image of one student sitting on the sidewalk and another crouching as they color in a sun in chalk. Smaller images at the bottom, left to right, show a student sitting on the sidewalk, filling in letters in chalk; a chalked IUP logo; and a student on her knees, drawing in chalk on the sidewalk in front of her.

Chalking Up a Good Time

Friday was a fine day for the Chalk-on-the-Walk sidewalk commentary contest, as (clockwise from top) Rosa Pachuca and Cori Stuckey, Bridget Doyle, and Ian Thompson can attest. Winners were Jacob Valentin (grand prize), Bricelyn Webber (second place), and for special topics, Faith Hoffman (Social/Political), Bricelyn Webber (Popular Culture), Natalie Jenkins (Environmental), and Sarah Trafton (Human Rights).
UNIVERSITY NEWS
An American Passport Project grant that will fund up to 25 student passports will bring travel and study abroad within reach for more students. The Office of International Education has also developed a support and mentoring program for students who qualify.
FOR STUDENTS AND ADVISORS
See the summer hours for virtual tutoring and graduate editing through the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center. These services will begin Monday and continue through August 5.
