Stetson®, the world-famous hatmaker, is launching its new Gameday Collection in partnership with Stetson University, CLC and L2 Brands. Each hat is uniquely designed, officially licensed and features Stetson branding integrated into the hat band. The new hat comes in two colors, black and beige. 

The collection will debut on Saturday, September 20, at the Stetson University Bookstore and at the Hatters’ 1 p.m. football game against Harvard at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium. The Stetson® Gameday Collection will be available exclusively through the Stetson University Bookstore, both in-store and online. Pre-orders are now being accepted by calling the Bookstore at (386) 822-7160.

Local fans can also purchase a hat early at Hatter Fest at the Bookstore's booth, hosted by Stetson Athletics in Downtown DeLand, on Friday, September 19, 6-8:30 p.m. on West Indiana Avenue.

The Alumni Office is excited to expand the Doug & Margaret Lee Day of Service on Friday, November 7, with a new alumni-led volunteer opportunity.

In past years, this special day, named in honor of Stetson's 8th University President and his wife, has united student organizations across campus through meaningful service projects. This year, alumni are invited to join in, whether you’re in DeLand or across the country. In addition to our planned activity, we encourage anyone to lead their own service project or volunteer opportunity in honor of this day and if you let us know ahead of time, we'll send you some Stetson swag!

This year’s reunion giving campaign Fill the Fountain is a fun donor participation challenge between the decades. From the 1950s to the 2020s every decade has its own themed duck and every gift helps show how Hatters of all generations make a big impact.

Interested in learning more about Stetson's MFA program? It's a two-year, low-residency creative writing program that offers additional specialization for those interested in the intersection of writing plus image, including comics, installation art, video and performance. Deadline to apply for the December 2025 residency is October 1! 

It’s Stetson Law’s quasquicentennial anniversary! Our community is invited to join Florida’s first law school as we celebrate its 125 year history. There will be five themed eras throughout the Gulfport campus. (1900-1925, 1925-1950, etc.) Each era will inform the music, decor, and cocktails in each of the spaces. It’s a once-in-125-years party. This event is open to all Hatters!

Stetson University Athletics has announced renewal of its relationship with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) and 1st Tix, both of which provide complimentary tickets to Hatter Baseball, Football, Men's and Women's Basketball and Softball home events during the 2025-26 season.

Don't forget to check out Hatter Fest happening this Friday, September 19 from 6-8:30 p.m. in Downtown DeLand! Visit with sports teams from Hatter Athletics as well as John B, and hear from the Stetson Pep Band. A limited amount of the new Stetson® hats will also available for purchase at the Stetson Bookstore's Booth as part of a special pre-sale before the hats officially launch on September 20. 

Jessica Meinhofer ’00 just launched the Florida State Park Activity Book, a creative and engaging tool that helps people slow down and connect with Florida’s parks in a more personal way. It was born out of her work on Walk and Paddle, her blog and platform where she shares how-to guides, gear tips, and simple ways to explore the outdoors. Now, through the book, she invites others to step into nature with intention and begin writing their own story along the trail.

Hatters Ryan Rapolti ’09 (Alumni Board Member, second in back), Dereck Williams ’17 (Alumni Board Member, second in front), Michael Stewart ’11 (second to last in back), and Garland Woodruff ’19 (center in back) regularly volunteer with their Orlando-based nonprofit, Guys with Ties Philanthropy, across central FL. The group also recently achieved a record-breaking fundraising milestone, which they donated to Give Kids the World Village last month.
