Clemson has received an $11 million grant from the Bezos Earth Fund to develop more sustainable cotton. Led by professor Chris Saski, the project aims to advance research to develop next-generation cotton with built-in color that uses fewer resources, supporting South Carolina’s agricultural economy and positioning the state as a global leader in sustainable textile innovation.

Hundreds of students gathered at the Watt Family Innovation Center to showcase their work at the 21st annual Focus on Creative Inquiry (FoCI) poster forum April 8-10. This year’s event featured 358 posters on topics ranging from water quality to gene therapies and the influence of AI-generated suggestions on human behavior.
