Welcome, Misty!

We are excited to introduce Misty Jimenez as the new 4-H Associate Educator in Fond du Lac County! Her first day with Extension was August 26.
Misty grew up in Pembine, Wisconsin, and has lived in Fond du Lac for about 12 years. She has an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (Marinette campus). She’s had the opportunity to study abroad in Guatemala, participating in numerous volunteer projects and studying cross-cultural communications and Spanish. She has dedicated much of her career to working with individuals with disabilities in residential care and at a vocational center. Her experience also includes years of working with children, including volunteering in classrooms, substituting for teachers and instructional aides, working in a childcare center, and leading a Girl Scout troop.
This provided her with valuable insights into youth development and education and the expertise to plan and execute engaging activities. Misty is excited to start her journey as the 4-H Associate Educator in Fond du Lac County! Misty will focus on expanding the 4-H program and working with underserved audiences in Fond du Lac County. Afterschool 4-H clubs and programming will be one of her priorities.
