Great Expectations

It's time to say goodbye, our joy-filled school year has come to an end.
We've made more cherished memories and many more new friends.
We've watched our Dragons learn and grow and change from day to day.
We hope that all the things we've taught have inspired them in exciting ways.
So it's with HAPPY MEMORIES we send them out the door,
With great HOPE and EXPECTATIONS for what next year holds in store!
Wishing all of our Dragons a fun and restful break.  As you leave school to enjoy the summer, may you each go with a song and a smile in your heart. 
Congratulations and best wishes to ALL of our 2025 graduates. Go forth and shine!  Remember, ONCE a Dragon, ALWAYS a Dragon!

Summer Assignments Now Posted

St. Michael's has posted summer assignments and recommended reading lists for grades 1-8 via the button below, along with Fall 2025 Back to School supply lists. 

You may also find this information on our website under "Community/Summer-Back to School." Now that the school year is complete, our administrative team will be finalizing Back to School information. Please also check the aforementioned website link again in late July for important updates.

Back To School Supply Kits: Convenience, Cost-Savings, and Brand-Named Items! 

The St. Michael's Parents' Association (SMPA) is excited to announce that families can now purchase K-8 Back to School Supply Kits that will be waiting for children on their desks at Lower School Meet Your Teacher Day and Middle School Orientation! (These kits were VERY well-received last year, and families were very pleased with the quality!)

PowerSchool Parent Portal: Back-to-School Forms 

Student Back-to-School forms, health and athletic forms, and medical information will continue to be managed through the St. Michael's PowerSchool and Magnus Health secure databases for the upcoming school year. 
All St. Michael's Health Forms and Back-to-School forms will go live for the '25-'26 school year on JUNE 12.   Following the release of forms in the school database on June 12, you will be able to complete forms through the PowerSchool Parent Account that you have created. An email will go out to all St. Michael's families on that date with detailed instructions for locating the necessary forms within your PowerSchool Parent Account.
Please enter the required health information within your Magnus Health account for each child attending St M no later than August 1. Don't hesitate to get in touch with Michael Jones, Director of Technology, with any questions.
  • NOTE: If your children in rising grades 4-8 are playing any sports at St M, a St. Michael's Athletic Participation Form (which can be found in Magnus Health) needs to be completed by a family physician this summer.
NEW FAMILIES: In early June, you will receive an email from the Admissions Office containing instructions and login instructions to our PowerSchool/Magnus Health Portal. Please contact Admissions Director Alison Roussy with any questions.

Summer Administrative Office Hours

St. Michael's will observe summer office hours starting the week of June 16. 
  • Our Administrative Offices will be open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. (Closed on Fridays)
  • St. Michael's will be CLOSED the week of June 30-July 4.
  • Our Extended Programs Summer Camp team will be working Monday-Friday (June 16-August 8) during camp hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

St. Michael’s has long enjoyed the steadfast philanthropic support of its current parents, grandparents, alumni, past parents, and friends to meet the growing needs of the School beyond what tuition covers. Your participation is essential to the success of our programs and community.

Come to Sunday Church in St M's Outdoor Chapel in June!


St. Michael’s Episcopal Church will hold casual worship services in St. Michael's School's outdoor chapel on Sundays in June, which include June 1, 8, 15, 2, and 29.
All (even pets!) are welcome to join what will be a simple but moving service beginning at 8:30 a.m. We’ll enjoy joyful song and readings, a brief homily, and share Holy Communion at our school’s altar in the woods overlooking the lake. This service is intended to include those of varying denominational backgrounds and church homes, and for those who are still seeking. Whoever you are and from wherever you might be coming, know that you are most welcome here.
