Good morning! Keep cool this summer and learn about the universe with free planetarium shows on campus. A group of Honors students supports their community; the city of Clemson adds new take-out parking spots downtown.

What to know today:

Did you know Clemson University has its own digital planetarium on campus? Maintained by the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the planetarium in Kinard Laboratory hosts free shows most Wednesdays during the summer. Required registration opens one week before each show and seating is limited.

A group of Clemson Honors students representing different majors has supported their fellow students and the surrounding community in various ways, from peer mentorship to launching STEM education initiatives and supporting individuals with disabilities.

Beginning today, Alpha Beta Circle will be closed at Heisman Street to repair the roadway. The project is expected to be completed by July 23.

CCIT Tech Tip: Print large posters, banners and more with plotting services available to main campus faculty and staff. Each plot costs $1 per square foot. Visit the printing and plotting window outside the CCIT Support Center in Cooper Library to learn more or pick up your plot.

Need to grab a quick bite around town? The city of Clemson has added four new 15-minute take-out parking spots, bringing the total number of these spaces to six. These spaces are designated as 15-minute take-out parking only and do not require a meter.
