Happy Birthday, St. Michael's!
69 years ago on September 10, 1957, St. Michael's opened its doors to 63 first, second, and third grade students, with subsequent grades added each year.
While St M has grown to meet the changing needs of our students, what has stayed constant -- our strong values, the love of learning that is instilled, and the sense of joy and belonging that our students, families, and faculty feel here.

Application Time is NOW for Kindergarten 2027!
NOW is the time to apply for Kindergarten for the 2027-28 school year! Applications are submitted ONLINE per the link below. (New families need to create an account; current families should use their St M PowerSchool account login.) Please tell your friends, colleagues, and neighbors. Thank you!
Current St M families with rising kindergarteners, we encourage you to submit your applications soon so we can begin scheduling admissions testing.

Picture Day is September 23
We are happy to announce that Picture Day is coming soon for all students in grades K-8, plus faculty and staff, on Tuesday, September 23!
Families will have the opportunity to purchase pictures after viewing a proof. Proofs will be brought home by students around 2 weeks after picture day. A portion of the sales goes back to the St. Michael's Parents' Association!
NOTE: All students and faculty/staff will be photographed regardless of whether they choose to purchase photos, as these photos are used for the annual yearbook. D
Eighth Graders received SPECIAL instructions from room parents re: dress requirements as their portraits are more formal in nature. For grades K-7, dress code is uniforms.

Eighth Grade Camping Trip
Our 8th graders will partake in a much-anticipated annual overnight camping trip, September 17-18.

Last Call to Register for Middle School Choir (6th-8th Grades) Now is the time for Middle Schoolers to register for Middle School Choir! Under the direction of Dawn Childs, the ensemble's objective is to build vocal skills, expand musical knowledge through various musical styles, and create community partnerships within St. Michael's and beyond. Students do not need to audition, and everyone is welcome!

Eighth Grade Back to School Dance, September 19
The Collegiate School is hosting an Eighth Grade Back to School Dance for area independent middle schools on Saturday, September 19, from 7-9 p.m. You must obtain a wristband in advance from Mr. Williams, St. Michael's Middle School Director, to gain entry to the dance. | Illness Reporting Protocol/Form
For the health and safety of all of our students, faculty, and staff, thank you for informing St. Michael’s if your child is ill and/or has a suspected contagious illness.
Upon receipt of this information, Nurse Maben, St M's school nurse, will contact the family. Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted by Nurse Maben.
