It has been 178 days since 85-year-old Amiram Cooper and his wife, Nurit, who has since been released, were kidnapped by Hamas from their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz. Federation will not rest until Amiram — along with the other remaining hostages — is safely returned home.

On Sunday, April 7th at 2:30 PM, exactly six months following the October 7th massacre, Federation, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum DC, and other local, national, and international partners invite you to march to bring home the hostages — not to ask for their release, but to demand it. Join us on the National Mall to make your voice heard.

| Celebrate the 2024 Phyllis G. Margolius Impossible Dream Award
Join the Phyllis G. Margolius Foundation, Federation, and the Bender JCC on April 11th to celebrate Rabbi Ari Israel, Executive Director of the University of Maryland Hillel, for inspiring thousands of Jewish students, many of whom have gone on to become leaders in Jewish communities across the nation. We will also host a conversation by and for Jewish communal professionals to discuss the issues that confront us in our work, and brainstorm organic solutions.

| The Jerusalem Youth Chorus Visits DC
In these challenging times, the Jerusalem Youth Chorus sings a different song: they are an Israeli-Palestinian music and dialogue project raising youth voices for a shared future. The chorus will be performing at Adas Israel in partnership with the One America Movement and DMV ensembles of different faiths.
