Deadline extended: Blue Jay Dialogue Innovation Fund
The Student Blue Jay Dialogue Innovation Fund awards up to $10,000 for Johns Hopkins students or teams to create dialogue-based programs. The fund supports student-led initiatives that teach respectful, effective engagement across differences. Apply by Oct. 22 for the chance to bring your dialogue project to life!
JHU student survey on sexual misconduct
JHU is inviting students to participate in a survey on sexual misconduct. The results of the survey will be used to guide policies and initiatives to encourage a healthy and safe environment for all JHU students.
A survey link has been emailed to all students; please submit your response by November 25. As a token of our appreciation, approximately 20% of students who complete the survey will be randomly selected to receive a $15 Amazon gift card. If you have questions about the survey or have difficulty accessing it, please e-mail ClimateSurvey@jhu.edu.

Hoptoberfest and Boo Jay Tuesday |

Celebrate the arrival of autumn and all things Halloween! Hoptoberfest returns to Homewood from Oct. 23–25 and will include a kick-off carnival, a farm day (with a pumpkin patch and a petting zoo), a haunted house, and a concert featuring Khalid. All Hoptoberfest events are free for students and are sponsored by the HOP. Learn more and register in Hopkins Groups.
Then, as Halloween approaches, get ready for Boo Jay Tuesday! On Oct. 28 from 1–3 p.m., bring your own bag and visit our trick-or-treat stations all around campus for candy, giveaways, raffle prizes and more. Costumes are encouraged! The list of locations is available on the event page.

Enjoy Music Mondays in the Bloomberg Student Center
Enjoy live musical performances in the BSC every other Monday! At 12 and 5:30 p.m., student musicians will perform background/environmental music to accompany lunch and dinner. The next Music Monday is scheduled for Nov. 6; be sure to stop by to enjoy the performances! If you or your student organization would like to be considered for future Music Mondays performances, you can submit an application online.
Secure Your Nest: Safety & Security Night with Hopkins Dining
Secure Your Nest continues with an opportunity to meet and have dinner with the patrol and Public Safety officers who work to keep you safe on Oct. 23 from 5–7 p.m. in Hopkins Café and Nolans. Officers will meet with students and share tips, information, giveaways and more. Non-meal plan attendees must register in advance in Hopkins Groups for free entry.
Spruce up your nest this fall
If you're a junior or senior living in a rowhome, register to spruce up your nest on Oct. 25 and Off-Campus Housing will bring yard supplies to you! They’ve got rakes, leaf bags, lawn mowers and more to keep your yard tidy (and your neighbors happy)! Learn more and RSVP in Hopkins Groups.

Get your flu shot by Nov. 21
Flu season is here, and all JHU students are required to receive the annual flu vaccine no later than Nov. 21. Learn more about the flu vaccine policy, where and how to get vaccinated on campus, and documentation requirements when receiving the vaccine from other providers.

Accessing health care after hours
Need help with a health issue at night or on the weekend? If you contact a Primary Care clinic after-hours by phone, you'll be transferred to a nurse advice line for evaluation and guidance on next steps. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, immediately call 911 or Public Safety at 410-516-4600 if you are on campus.
Students also have access to TimelyCare, an app that offers free 24/7 access to virtual care services. You can access on-demand care or schedule an appointment at a time that's convenient for you. For more information, visit the Emergencies and After Hours page on the Well-Being website.

A soccer double-header on Oct. 25
Men’s and Women’s Soccer will host a Senior Day double header on Oct. 25; both teams will take on Muhlenberg, with the Men’s game starting at 12 p.m. and the Women’s game starting at 3 p.m. Join us to cheer on our Hopkins athletes (and celebrate our seniors)—GO HOP!
