What is your name?
Lobna Youssef, SEAS '21
Where was your internship located?
Engineers Without Borders, Udaipur, India

How has the experience influenced your career path?
Working with Engineers without Borders with our trip to Udaipur, India was an experience of a lifetime. From day one of the trip, I began to gain knowledge and life skills that I will use for the rest of my life. Majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering, my academic knowledge was directly used in the testing phase of our assessment trip. Testing and mapping several different types of water sources around the village allowed me to directly transfer topics learned in the classroom into direct skills. Furthermore, my professional skills also greatly developed. My experience working with the GW chapter of Engineers without Borders was nothing but positive, and it is an organization that I look forward working with.
