Originally from Egypt, Ahmed Sakr moved to Saudi Arabia nine years ago to advance his career in medical sales. Two years ago, he took a buying job with Al-Dawaa Medical Services, and though he was excited about his new position with one of the largest pharmacy chain companies in the Middle East, it came with supply chain disciplines that were completely new to him.

Two winners selected for the new Distance Education Alumni Board Scholarship

This spring, the Distance Education Alumni Board introduced a new scholarship in its name, which awards two $300 scholarships each year to distance education students. The scholarship was created to provide additional financial support to distance students and is funded by UW-Platteville Alumni Association memberships.

It is the project manager’s job to coordinate people, track time and resources, and generally keep a project moving forward. This role is especially important when it aligns with safety, as it does for alumnus Anthony Chavez, the Manager for the Environment, Safety, and Health Department at the Sandia National Laboratories Facilities Center.

May 17 - Last day to register with e-check or credit card. Today is also the payment deadline for anyone paying by mail.
May 17 - Last day to drop a course and receive a 100% refund of all tuition.
May 24 - Preview Week begins for summer 2016 courses.
May 31 - First day of summer 2016 courses.
