As we approach the end of a transformative year, I want to take this moment to thank you for this time to re-focus, to partner with you, and to prioritize student success. To recap just a few outcomes of these efforts. We have:
- Aligned SEI organization and campus budget requests to support the strategic plan.
- Defined product and service catalogs allowing campus to find services available.
- Implemented Katalyst, the new IT ticketing tool, to provide an updated look and additional functionality.
- Established focus groups to test new technology and improve useability.
- Expanded technology training offerings including Microsoft Bookings and Forms, updated and new Qualtrics courses, and cybersecurity travel tips.
- Updated most information technology policies to reflect regulatory changes and.concise language.
- Established a roadmap of projects to provide transparency into IT work and pipeline.
- Defined and continue to iterate the technology acquisition process to create efficiencies.
As we prepare for the start of a new academic and fiscal year, our work to align operations with the strategic plan will continue with unwavering focus remaining on strengthening relationships as well as developing and improving services and processes.
This will be my last monthly update, but not the last you will hear about the things we accomplish in support of campus. We will report progress online and periodically through email.
