Bike Month Fun Fact: On a hot, humid day, bike riders get to create their own breeze!

The forecast for this Saturday, May 7th, is calling for sunny skies with a high around 85. Join Lightning 100's Team Green Adventures for a Beginner-Friendly Bike Ride at 1pm starting at McCabe Community Center. We'll ride for one-hour at a beginner-friendly, family-friendly pace. Bring your own bike, or rent a Nashville Bcycle for only $5. RSVPs are highly encouraged.

Beginner Mountain Biking @ Warner Park
Wednesday, May 11th at 6pm
Join us out on the mountain biking trails for an after-work ride at Percy Warner Park! We’ll tackle a section of trail that is friendly for both beginners and advanced riders, so don’t let your experience level deter you! Riders must provide their own bike and helmet.

Bike to Work Day
Friday, May 20th at 8am
Join fellow Nashvillians as bike-trains all over the city make their way to the steps of Nashville's Metro Courthouse to enjoy coffee and pastries before heading off to work. Form a work or neighborhood team, join the Lightning 100 team, or ride as an individual and meet follow riders along the way!

ReCYCLE Bike Refurbish Volunteer Event
Wednesday, May 25th at 6pm
Want to learn about basic bike maintenance, like checking your chain, replacing worn brakes, and repairing flat tires? Join us for a volunteer event in partnership with Hands On Nashville and the Oasis Center to repair donated children's bikes while learning these valuable skills!
