Run for the Trees virtual 5K registration is open |
Happy Little Trees 5K is a virtual event held in April between Earth Day and Arbor Day. This year will be April 19-27th. Participation is open to all ages and abilities, and you can run, walk, bicycle, skate or use a mobility device in any favorite outdoor setting of your choosing.
Registration is just $36 and includes a "Happy Little Swag" bundle:
Keepsake "Happy Little T-shirt,"
Commemorative racing bib,
Finisher's medal,
Plant 10 trees in Oregon!
All Oregon race proceeds will support tree planting and forest protection efforts in Oregon parks. 10 trees will be planted in Oregon for each registration.
Registration is now open for the 2025 Run for the Trees /Happy Little (Virtual) 5K. Each registration plants 10 trees, so gather your friends and family and make it a team event. Registration will close on April 1.

Exploring Oregon's Sno-parks |
With snow on the mountains and in the forecast, Oregon is a winter paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering countless opportunities to enjoy the snowy season. Among the best ways to explore the state’s pristine winter landscapes is snowshoeing, an activity that combines fitness, adventure, and breathtaking scenery. Oregon’s Sno-Parks make it easy to access some of the best trails for snowshoeing. These Sno-Parks are designated parking areas, maintained by the Oregon Department of Transportation, providing access to groomed trails and backcountry experiences. Coming soon - a special screening in Oregon |
We are excited by the opportunity to present a private screening in early June of the feature-length documentary Out There: A National Parks Story. We will be joined by the film's director and cinematographer. Brendan Hall. The film follows Hall and a childhood friend on a 10,000 mile road trip through U.S.National Parks, revealing a tapestry of stories from the people they meet along the way. Out There has enjoyed a successful festival run, winning several awards and headlining events at venues such as The Public Lands Alliance, The Explorers Club, the National Parks Friends Alliance and Pixar Animation Studios.
