Coming Soon! Changes in Contribution Management
Beginning with the new fiscal year (July 1) we will start entering contribution information to our new Planning Center/Church Center software. This is exciting news because, like with all of Church Center, giving information will soon be available to you through your Church Center portal!
As we’re getting your account set up in the new system you may receive some automated emails. These emails will be from Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist with a message from Church Center. For example, if you share giving with another Church Center user (shared households) you will receive an email informing you that those accounts have been combined for giving records. The new system will also send email receipts for contributions, though you have the option to discontinue those emails. You can look at giving information in your Church Center profile at any time.
Please be patient as we get things set up and understand that we won’t be transferring giving history. The information you see in Church Center will only include contributions after July 1, 2026.
If you have questions about this change, please contact Finance Manager Laura Kallio at laura@fvuuf.org.

If your child(ren) was registered for RE during the 2025–2026 program year, they are already registered for summer—no need to sign up again until registration opens for the 2026–2027 program year.
If your family is new to RE, we’re excited to welcome you! Please register your child(ren) using THIS LINK. There is no fee for summer participation.
Registration for the 2026–2027 Religious Exploration program year will open in late summer. At that time, all families will need to complete a new registration, and program fees will apply.
We look forward to sparking curiosity and spending meaningful time in community with our young learners this summer. Come join us, won't you!

Notes

Scam Alert with red background
Scam/Phishing Emails
We have seen an uptick lately in scam/phishing emails, and scammers continue to get more sophisticated.
Unfortunately, many of us have been targeted in our personal lives, but religious communities continue to be a hotbed of these nefarious emails. No one is immune. Scam/phishing emails often tell a story to trick you into clicking on a link, opening an attachment, or inadvertently giving them seemingly innocuous information, which they later use to target others.
Along with the ever-present money/gift card scams, most recently, scammers have been posing as board members or staff members trying to get a member directory. To keep everyone's information safe, member directories are only available to lay leaders who need the information in their volunteer roles.
As some of you may still have an older version of our membership directory, please remember, Fellowship leadership and staff will NEVER email direct requests for money, gift cards, or a membership directory!
Think twice before acting on any email requests and be sure to double-check the sender’s email address. Many scammers pretend to be a trusted friend or Fellowship employee, but the email address is not our own. This may be an attempt to collect personal information or trick you into clicking on a malicious link.
Please do NOT respond to or forward any email that says it’s from a Fellowship staff person unless it is coming from an “FVUUF.org” email address. If you have received an email that you are unsure whether it’s coming from a staff person, please call the Fellowship office at 920.731.0849. Also, if you have received these or any similar emails appearing to come from the name of a Fellowship minister, staff member, or board member, please click on the following link to the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Information webpage, and scroll to the bottom of the page for information on how to report phishing emails HERE.
