Learning Lives Forever - Kyle Bishop
Dr. Kyle Bishop to Present Virtual Event
Just in time for Halloween, Dr. Kyle Bishop will discuss "The Demonstrative Power of Monsters: Why We Need Them" in this Learning Lives Forever Virtual Event on Thursday, October 28, at 4 p.m. MDT. Dr. Bishop is chair of the English Department at SUU and his dissertation addressed the cultural relevance of zombie cinema. Join us!

MPA Program Reaccreditation
MPA Program Reaccredited by NASPAA
SUU's Master of Public Administration Program has been reaccredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration. Our MPA program is designed to function at the student’s pace and can be completed entirely online, and it concentrates on state and local government, higher education administration, and criminal justice. In the 14 years since the MPA was established, more than 400 students have earned their master’s degrees, and currently more than 128 students are enrolled in the program.

Colleges of Distinction Recognizes Nursing Program
Known for being the best public nursing program in Utah, SUU’s Department of Nursing has received specialized recognition this year from Colleges of Distinction. Honored for its high-impact approach to education, SUU received additional recognition in nursing for a curriculum that is not only comprehensive in course material, but also in practical and soft skills development allowing students to succeed in healthcare.

October 28: Dr. Kyle Bishop - Learning Lives Forever Virtual Event, 4:00 p.m. MDT via Zoom. Dr. Bishop is the chair of the SUU English Department and will present on "The Demonstrative Power of Monsters: Why We Need Them." 
October 29: Submission Deadline for the Kolob Canyon Review, SUU's literary magazine. Alumni are invited to submit creative work in poetry, short creative nonfiction, short fiction and visual art. Visit the Kolob Canyon Review website to learn more and submit.
December 1: Marie Osmond - A Symphonic Christmas, 7:30 p.m. in the America First Event Center on the SUU campus. Purchase your tickets today at the Thunderbird Ticket Office, by calling (435) 586-7872 or online at tbirdtickets.com.
February 2: SUU Night at the Utah Jazz, 8 p.m. game vs. the Denver Nuggets. Tickets are $90 and include VIP early entry pass to sit courtside for Jazz warm-ups and a catered meal in a private skybox.
